About this role
As Senior SEO Specialist, your role will go beyond execution - you’ll shape the vision and guide the implementation of cutting-edge strategies that increase visibility across traditional and AI-powered search platforms (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
You will
Own and evolve our SEO methodology - including frameworks for AI citation audits, prompt mapping, and LLM-content fit
Lead AI visibility audits for clients, using tools and manual methods to understand where and why brands are mentioned (or not)
Develop AI-first content strategies, designed to win visibility in LLM responses and featured overviews
Guide technical SEO improvements for better crawlability, structured data, semantic clarity, and AI-readability
Train and mentor SEO team members on AI SEO principles, tools, and evolving best practices
Act as a thought partner for agency clients, helping them navigate the transition toward an AI-first search landscape
What we’re looking for
You have at least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience and you are genuinely curious about how AI is changing the game.
A deep understanding of both classic SEO principles and how AI systems interpret, summarize, and cite web content
Familiarity with Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and how citations are generated in AI answers
Strategic thinker with strong opinions about the future of SEO - and a desire to build frameworks, not just follow them
Experience with tools like GA4, GSC, Semrush, Screaming Frog
Fluent in English and Dutch with the confidence to communicate clearly in both
Strong communication skills - you're confident advising clients and mentoring teammates
