Situation

Treams is a Dutch HR-tech company that enhances employee engagement and performance through continuous feedback, goal setting, and development conversations. The platform connects individual growth with company objectives, fostering a culture of transparency and progress.

The partnership between Flowboost and Treams began in April 2024, initially focused on PPC services.

During Q2 and Q3 of 2025, Treams decided to launch an English version of their website and redefine their value proposition under “Treams Evolved”, shifting from an HR-focused tool to a daily-use solution for managers.

Problem

Treams wanted to expand internationally by launching a new English version of their website, but their existing setup made this impossible:

  • The main domain treams.com was redirected to treams.com/nl.

  • This structure prevented the use of Weglot, the chosen translation automation tool.

  • An old /en version existed historically and still indexed and redirected URLs.

The goal was to enable multilingual functionality, preserve SEO value, and ensure a smooth migration without traffic loss.

Solution

Flowboost led Treams through an SEO-safe migration and international rollout by taking the following steps:

  • Removed the root→/nl redirect

  • Redirected all /nl URLs to the root, and made Dutch the main version. 

  • Legacy /en pages used temporary 302s until the new Weglot-based /en launched, later replaced by 301s.

  • Translations were optimized for SEO and UX, with technical checks and setup ensuring stable post-migration performance.

Combining PPC & SEO

Although Treams offers a solid, high-quality software solution, communicating its unique value proposition and reaching the right audience isn’t always easy, as it operates in a highly specific niche that includes HR specialists, managers, team leads, and CEOs.

Through Flowboost’s PPC and SEO services, Treams increased brand visibility, attracted high-intent traffic, and positioned its platform as a daily-use management tool.

The combined strategy supported both lead generation and the brand’s repositioning as Treams Evolved.

Result

As a result of the SEO migration and international rollout, Treams experienced strong organic growth across all key metrics.

Within six weeks, organic sessions increased by 80.2% and new users by 65.8%. Visibility also improved, with 12 more keywords ranking in the top 3 and a 27.4% increase in SERP features.

The site now indexes efficiently under the root domain, with both Dutch and English versions performing well in search. This created a stronger foundation for their international growth and upcoming brand repositioning as “Treams Evolved.”
